Read to the Children

These are examples of recordings made by Colorado offenders as part of the Read to the Children (RTC) program, a partnership between the Colorado State Library’s Institutional Library Development and the Colorado Department of Corrections Libraries.

The program, currently available at 19 Department of Corrections facilities, helps offenders stay involved in their children’s lives by encouraging their children to read.
