Gemma Open Door for Literacy
Audiobooks
offers audio versions of our books, read at a deliberately
slow pace so that new readers and people new to the language can follow along.

SnapReads!
free, serial, short passages adapted from some of our most popular titles.
Written at roughly first-grade level, these quick reads introduce new readers
to an underlying story in 4 or 5 installments. Once readers have some
familiarity with characters and plots, they can gain some confidence and get
ready for the full text. SnapReads! are between 250 and 300 words each. They
act as on-ramps for bigger books.
Reading
& Teaching Guides
Teachers
and adult learners use guides to develop reading and comprehension
skills. To make the experience more powerful, we have developed teaching and
reading guides for many titles. These PDFs may be freely downloaded for classroom
or individual use.
