State Library is pleased to announce that Everybody Wins! Iowa, the recipient

to further their efforts to expand literacy in Iowa.

are suggested for the program by teachers, based on three areas: if they are
struggling with reading, are English language learners, or if they might
benefit from having positive ongoing mentoring experience. These consistent,
positive interactions provide students with a dependable role model who works
to strengthen their confidence with regard to reading.
Everybody
Wins! Iowa was one of nine organizations from across the country to receive a
2019 State Literacy Award. The nine nominating organizations and their winning
