Estevez, Baldwin to film movie starring Cincinnati library

A
new drama starring Emilio Estevez, Alec Baldwin and Taylor Schilling
("Orange is the New Black") will film here in mid-January,
according to a Friday announcement from Film Cincinnati. Estevez
("The Breakfast Club," "Young Guns,"
"Bobby") wrote the screening for "The Public" and
will direct.
The independent film is now in pre-production. The movie also stars Jena Malone ("Donnie Darko," "The Hunger Games").
According
to the release, the movie is about a standoff between patrons of the
Cincinnati Public Library and police. The patrons there stage a sit-in. Baldwin
("The Departed," "30 Rock") plays a negotiator, with
Estevez and Malone cast as librarians. Schilling will portray an activist. READ
